The weather can be quite miserable throughout most of the United States during January, but that is not the case for Miami. January in Miami is filled with mild temperatures and no threat of inclement weather. It is hard to top relaxing on a beach in a swimsuit while the rest of the country is shoveling snow. These are the four most exciting events being held in Miami later this month.

Super Bowl Live

The biggest sporting event of the year is coming to Miami again in 2020. While the big game will be held in early February, football fans can start the celebration early at the Super Bowl Live event beginning on January 25. The seven-day event will feature free concerts, food tastings, water shows, fireworks, and a lot more. All of the festivities will be held in Bayfront Park.

International Chocolate Festival

Everything about this delicious treat will be celebrated at the Fairchild Botanical Gardens on January 25 and 26. Everyone attending the 14th International Chocolate Festival will get to learn how chocolate is grown and turned into delicious snacks. Food and drink samples from some of the finest chocolatiers in the world will also be available.

Breaux Arts Festival of Art

The popular Breaux Arts Festival of Art returns to the University of Miami for the 69th year on January 18. The two-day event will feature works from more than 200 professional artists. A few lucky local high school students will also get to display their pieces of art at the festival. In addition to the stunning displays, there will be live performances, delicious food, informative art classes, and interactive activities for the kids.

Miami Jewish Film Festival

The Miami Jewish Film Festival dates back to 1996, which makes it one of the longest-running film festivals in the city. Films will be screened at a total of 14 different venues throughout Miami.
